curtains said welcome

I love the bright, welcoming colors and how they clash with the shuttered and closed windows. The composition of this photo is wonderful, it caught my eye first thing when browsing for one to critique. I just love how the friendly atmosphere created by the blue clashes with the modestly shuttered windows. Are the people inside as happy as their colorful apartment would suggest? This piece impacted me by making me smile. I like how it suggests something darker behind the windows--and how I can't stop myself from wondering what exists beyond the little framed windows and floral decor. Great job.
